Gerald (Jerry) Levine, AMFT

After spending much of my life focusing on the connections between people, becoming part of the healing world felt like an organic and natural transition to make.

I am a graduate of Boston University and have received a Master’s in Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, with a specialization in Trauma. I have trained to become a multicultural competent therapist, with an emphasis on working with couples, individuals, youths, families, and LGBTQ +. As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, with an emphasis on solution-based results, my goal is to help my clients develop and improve their interpersonal, family and professional relationships, by gaining insight into their own feelings and how they affect behavior.

There is a path to change and emotional growth. A way to do the work that is necessary to loosen the grip that may have eroded your footing. We will work to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and develop the tools necessary to navigate your challenges and circumstances, with a sense of confidence and trust in yourself. One of the most important ingredients to a successful therapeutic outcome lies in the relationship between the client and their therapist. Using a Humanistic approach, we will create a space where the healing can take place.

Processing life transitions, parenting questions, marital issues, or general daily anxieties by yourself can feel lonely and daunting. Sometimes it only takes one person who understands. I am here to help you walk this path and with my guidance, help you reach your destination.
