Lori Weinstock, LCSW, is a cognitive-behavioral therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, with a specialty in multi-generational families and a strong emphasis in working with couples and individuals to improve their relationships and situations. She maintains a private practice in Beverly Hills, California.
With over 25 years experience as a couples and family therapist, and as a graduate of University of Southern California with a Masters in Social Work and a Masters in Gerontology, she is working with a broad spectrum of relationships and couples. Lori's greatest contribution is bringing couples who are struggling in their relationship to a safer place where they can partner and reconnect in a healthier manner. Lori finds that sometimes relationships are mired in dysfunction as the result of people not taking care of themselves or the sanctity of a meaningful relationship. By embracing change, and opening up to new ways to be in a relationship, Lori has helped countless couples find a truly wonderful way to heal together.
Lori is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
If you have an interest in making an appointment, but feel concerned that you don't want to go into the first session without some kind of contact, please feel free to call Lori and speak with her on the phone first. For couples therapy, both members of the couple are encouraged to spend a few minutes on the phone. Both people need to feel comfortable making the first step to letting someone into the privacy of their marriage.
Therapy is a wonderful investment in YOU!
